Porter Youth Center employee receives prestigious leadership award
PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, Calif. -- An employee at the Presidio of Monterey Porter Youth Center has been selected by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Maytag as a recipient of a prestigious national recognition.
Daniel Saia will be presented the 2014 Maytag Dependable Leader Award at the Porter Youth Center ceremony in March.
Notification of the award was received by the Presidio in December. Saia was one of 12 national winners to receive the distinction this year in a competition open to employees of the more than 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation, including affiliated youth centers on U.S. military installations. The award includes a $20,000 financial grant that Porter Youth Center is expected to use to provide scholarships for college or technical school to current and future qualified youth center members in Saia's name. The following patrons are eligible to use any program in CYSS Services for their dependents

Please prepare all required documents before visiting Parent Central Services to expedite the process of registration. Contact Parent Central Services to request all necessary froms and paperwork to make your registration as smooth as possible. For children with special needs, additional information will be required prior to registration and enrollment into any program.
Fees are charged monthly regardless of the number of work days in a month,
the number of federal holidays or unexpected closures due to command decisions or acts of God.
All fees are payable in advance and may be paid as follows:
Billing is run semi-monthly on the 1st and the 15th of the month. Parents have the option to pay in monthly or semi-monthly installments. Late payment fees are charged after the 5th business day.
In accordance with DoD and DA directives military child care fees are based on Total Family Income (TFI) not military rank or civilian grade. The Military Services subsidize fees on a sliding scale for every Family regardless of rank/grade or income. TFI is all earned (gross) income including wages, Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH), Basic Allowance for Housing with Dependents Rate (BAH RC/T), salaries, tips, special duty pay (flight pay, active duty Demo pay, sea pay) etc., regardless of whether they live in government housing or off the installation.
If a childcare space is not immediately available, you may choose to use our FCC program or hourly care services. You may also elect to be added to our waiting list. When a parent accepts a space, a non refundable deposit is required - the initial payment will equal 10 percent of the monthly payment rounded to the nearest dollar which will be credited to the first month's payment.
